Where do you live (City, State, or Country)?
I am originally from Ohio, but currently call Plano, Texas home.

Your script stood out among hundreds of others. What was the inspiration for your story and why did you write a script instead of a short story or a novel?
I do write short stories and novels. I presently have 6 books published by two publishing houses. I also write song lyrics.

How long did it take you to write your script...and what is your writing process? Do you outline...use index cards...white board...or just start with FADE IN?
Many of my scripts are derived from my short stories.  I never use index cards or white board.  I sometimes outline, but mostly I just sit with my computer and think of the story scene by scene.

My first short dark comedy, Not Albatrosses just came to me very quickly one day. I had it written in a matter of hours. My second short dark comedy, That’s Nonsense begins shooting June 28th, 2022.

What is your ultimate ambition as a writer?
To see my work on television or in theatres.

Which film or television writers inspire you? Why?
Steven Spielberg, Woody Allen,  Tina Fey, Mel Brooks because they are so creative, funny, with a good eye for detail.

What’s your all-time favorite movie or television show?
Too many to choose from, but The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

What advice do you have for writers hoping to win a contest or place as a finalist as you have?
To never give up.  Write until you die.

What else are you working on that the world needs to know about?
I am currently working on my third short film entitled, To Happy To Be Faithful.
