Where do you live (City, State, or Country)?
I live in Northern Ontario, Canada.

Your script stood out among hundreds of others. What was the inspiration for your story and why did you write a script instead of a short story or a novel?
I have used my work experience in Schools and my camping experience as a basis for my screenplay, Alternative Education.

How long did it take you to write your script...and what is your writing process? Do you outline...use index cards...white board...or just start with FADE IN?
I started with an outline on chart paper and then started with  FADE IN and made several revisions to get where my script is now.

What is your ultimate ambition as a writer?
I would like to see my script become a movie. I feel it could have potential as a series.

Which film or television writers inspire you? Why?
I am inspired by the writers of Crash and Sideways. There are always ripple effects to our actions which Crash shows. Sideways shows the underlying intentions to the words we say.

What’s your all-time favorite movie or television show?
Crash.

What advice do you have for writers hoping to win a contest or place as a finalist as you have?
Don't give up. If you have a message to convey, stick to it. It will take many rewrites to reach a broader audience.

What else are you working on that the world needs to know about?
I am working on a script, Transformation. It is written from a book, What Katydid - about a young woman's experience in the Air Force during World War II.
